About Us
15 Minute Field Trips is a Rhode Island–based environmental education initiative dedicated to helping learners of all ages reconnect with the natural world through short, intentional outdoor experiences.
We believe that meaningful learning can happen anywhere — a schoolyard, a city park, even the quiet corner of a neighborhood trail. Our 15-minute programs invite students and community members to observe, inquire, and reflect on the ecosystems around them, building a stronger sense of place and appreciation for the environment.
Our mission is to inspire environmental awareness, foster stewardship, and spark curiosity through hands-on, experiential learning. We work closely with schools, community groups, and volunteers to create accessible and inclusive science education opportunities that encourage people to step outside and engage with nature.
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we also offer a small selection of eco-friendly merchandise, including our reusable canvas tote bags featuring nature-inspired designs. These items support our educational programs while giving learners and supporters an easy way to celebrate and carry a piece of the outdoor experiences they love.
